The Wooden Legacy is an early-season Division 1 college basketball tournament played each November at Titan Gym on the campus of Cal State Fullerton in Southern California. The tournament, entering its 12th year in 2018, features a bracket format with 12 games over three days. Each team competes in one game per day regardless of results. The 2018 Wooden Legacy will be played Nov. 22, 23 & 25 and will feature returning NCAA Tournament teams Miami and Seton Hall, NIT finalist Utah, as well as Fresno State, Grand Canyon, Hawai’i, La Salle, and Northwestern. The tournament bracket and schedule will be announced this summer.
The 2017 event took place this past Nov. 23, 24 and 26 and was won by the Washington State Cougars, who defeated San Diego State in the final. The Aztecs and fellow participant Cal State Fullerton were both selected to the NCAA Tournament.
