Northwestern

Chris Collins enters his sixth season as the Northwestern coach with a complimentary mix of fresh faces and veteran leadership, as the team welcomes six newcomers with a pair of transfers and four first year players. Starters Vic Law (12.0 points and 5.5 rebounds per game) and Dererk Pardon (11.3, 6.7) are set for their final campaign in Evanston.  Pardon was an honorable mention All-Big Ten selection in 2017-2018 and set the school single-season record with a 61.9 field goal percentage.  The “fresh faces” feature transfers Ryan Taylor (Evansville) and AJ Turner (Boston College).  Taylor was first team All-Missouri Valley Conference in 2018 and led the league in scoring with 21.3 points per game.  Turner appeared in all 32 games at BC during the 2016-2017 season and led the ACC in assist/turnover ratio (2.91), while averaging 8.0 points per game.  The Wildcats return to campus this season after spending a year at Allstate Arena as Welsh-Ryan Arena underwent a $110 million renovation.
