The Myrtle Beach Invitational is an early-season Division 1 college basketball tournament played each November at the HTC Center on the campus of Coastal Carolina. The tournament, entering its 2nd year in 2019, features a bracket format with 12 games over three days. Each team competes in one game per day regardless of results. The 2019 Myrtle Beach Invitational will be played Nov. 21, 22 & 24 and will feature host Coastal Carolina along with Baylor, Middle Tennessee, Mississippi State, Ohio, Tulane, Utah, and 2018 National Champion Villanova.
The 2018 event took place this past Nov. 15, 16 and 18 and was won by the UCF Golden Knights, who defeated Western Kentucky in the final.
