The Wooden Legacy is an early-season Division 1 college basketball tournament played each November in Southern California. The tournament, entering its 13th year in 2019, features a bracket format with 12 games over three days. Each team competes in one game per day regardless of results. The 2019 Wooden Legacy will be played Nov. 28, 29 & Dec. 1 and will feature Arizona, Charleston, Long Beach State, Penn, Pepperdine, Providence, UCF, and Wake Forest. The 2018 event took place this past Nov. 22, 23 and 25 and was won by the Seton Hall Pirates, who defeated Miami in the final. The Pirates went on to be a No. 10 seed in the 2019 NCAA Tournament.
