About Charleston Classic
The Charleston Classic is an early-season Division 1 college basketball tournament played each November at TD Arena in downtown Charleston, South Carolina. The tournament will enter its 17th year in 2025 with a new format. Two separate four-team brackets will run concurrently on Nov. 21 and 23.
Bracket 1 – Clemson, Georgia, West Virginia, Xavier
Bracket 2 – Boston College, Davidson, Tulane, Utah State
The 2024 Charleston Classic was played Nov. 21, 22 & 24 and featured Drake, FAU, Miami, Nevada, Oklahoma State, Seton Hall, Vanderbilt, and VCU. Drake defeated Vanderbilt in the championship game and later went on to win the Missouri Valley Conference and an NCAA Tournament game.
