Matchups for the 2025 Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic Announced

The brackets for the 2025 Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic, an event with two four-team brackets, will be played on Nov. 21 and 23 at TD Arena in Charleston, S.C.

The Palmetto bracket will feature Clemson, Georgia, West Virginia, and Xavier, while the Lowcountry bracket will include Boston College, Davidson, Tulane, and Utah State.

Lowcountry Match-up Highlights

• This will be the second all-time meeting between Boston College (ACC) and Davidson (Atlantic 10). Davidson will be making its fifth appearance in the Charleston Classic, which ties Clemson, playing in the Palmetto bracket for the most by any school.

• Utah State (Mountain West) and Tulane (AAC) have met three times, but this will be their first meeting in 51 years. The Aggies hold a two-games-to-one lead.

Palmetto Match-up Highlights

• Georgia (SEC) and Xavier (Big East) have faced each other five times, with Xavier holding a slight 3–2 edge in the series. Notable matchups include Xavier’s 73–61 win in the 2008 NCAA Tournament and Georgia’s narrow 78–76 victory in the 2024 NIT First Round.

• West Virginia (Big 12) has a 5-1 series advantage over Clemson (ACC) with the most notable matchup taking place in 2007 when West Virginia beat Clemson 78-73 in the 2007 NIT Final.
