Matchups for 2021 Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic Announced
ESPN Events has revealed the bracket for the 13th annual Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic, to be played Nov. 18, 19, and 22 at TD Arena in Charleston, S.C. The field is highlighted by five teams who played in the postseason last year. West Virginia, Clemson, and St. Bonaventure played in the NCAA Tournament while Boise State and Ole Miss played in the NIT. St. Bonaventure returns all five starters from a team that won the A-10 regular season and post-season tournament.
The Bonnies will be joined by Boise State, Clemson, Elon, Marquette, Ole Miss, Temple, and West Virginia. The opening round features a matchup between two previous Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic Champions, Clemson (2008) and Temple (2017).
The bracket-format tournament features 12 games over three days. The teams compete once per day, regardless of results. The two unbeaten teams will face off in a championship game at 7:30 p.m ET on Sunday, Nov. 21, on ESPN.
