Sprouts Farmers Market espnW Invitational

The Sprouts Farmers Market espnW Invitational returns for its second year on Dec. 20, this time at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn. Expanding from a single marquee matchup in its debut to a doubleheader this year, the event features three ESPN Way Too Early Top 25 teams with No. 2 UConn taking on No. 10 LSU and Virginia facing No. 17 Kentucky.

2025 National Champion UConn, coming off its third consecutive Final Four and fifth in the last six years, will meet 2023 National Champion LSU in their first matchup since 2016 — a clash featuring two of the sport’s most recognizable brands and elite coaches. Rising powers Virginia and Kentucky enter fresh off their first Sweet 16 appearances in more than a decade, and will square off for the first time since 2019. Together, the star‑studded doubleheader showcases national championship pedigree, emerging contenders, and four of the most passionate fanbases in women’s basketball.
