ESPN Events Unveils Bracket for 2024 Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic
ESPN Events has announced the matchups for the 2024 Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic to be held December 22, 23 and 25th. The eight-team tournament includes 12 games played over a four-day stretch at the SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center in Honolulu. This year marks the 15th edition of the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic.
The participating teams are Charlotte (American Athletic), College of Charleston (Coastal Athletic Association), Loyola Chicago (Atlantic 10), Murray State (Missouri Valley), Nebraska (Big Ten), Oakland (Horizon), Oregon State (West Coast) and tournament host Hawai’i (Big West).

Matchup Notes
- Oregon State and College of Charleston, a 2024 NCAA Tournament squad, will meet on the hardwood for the first time ever.
- Loyola Chicago versus Oakland will match two returning conference champions. Loyola shared the A-10 regular season title, and Oakland won the Horizon League Tournament before defeating Kentucky in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament.
- Nebraska and Murray State face off for the first time in 24 years. The Cornhuskers are coming off a 23-win season in which they advanced to the NCAA Tournament. The Racers, meanwhile, have made the NCAA Tournament 18 times overall and look to return for the first time since 2022.
- Hawai’i, which has strung together eight straight winning seasons, and Charlotte, a 19-win team last season, play each other for just the second time with the first meeting coming in 1998.
