The 2019 Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic has made a change to the quarterfinals schedule, with Ball State now facing Washington and UTEP playing Hawai’i in the second session of the opening day. The change was made due to scheduling challenges, including the scheduling of non-bracketed games prior to the start of the event.
The 2019 Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic will be held Dec. 22, 23 and 25. The ESPN Events tournament will feature eight teams, with 12 games played over three days.
In addition to the 12 games played at the Stan Sheriff Center, the event will feature two non-bracketed on-campus games: Ball State at Georgia Tech on December 18 and UTEP at Houston the following day.
