Tickets on Sale For the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic


Entering its seventh year, the Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic returns to the Stan Sheriff Center, where it has become a holiday tradition for basketball fans. The eight-team tournament will be held December 22, 23 & 25.

All-session tickets for the 2015 Hawaiian Airlines Diamond Head Classic will go on sale Monday, Oct. 5 at 9 a.m. HST. Individual session tickets will go on sale Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 9 a.m. HST. Each day has two sessions, which includes two games.

Fans can purchase online at www.eTicketHawaii.com and print them on their home computer.  Phone orders can be placed by calling (808) 944-2697 (Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).

Joining host Hawai‘i in the 2015 field are Auburn, BYU, Harvard, New Mexico, Northern Iowa, Oklahoma and Washington State. Four of the eight squads qualified for the postseason in 2014-15.

The tournament tips off Tuesday, Dec. 22, with Auburn (SEC) pitted against New Mexico (Mountain West) at 9:30 a.m. HT, immediately followed by BYU (Independent) versus Harvard (Ivy League) at 11:30 a.m. The evening session will feature Oklahoma (Big 12) versus Washington State (PAC12) at 6:00 p.m., before the tournament wraps up with a battle between Northern Iowa (Missouri Valley) and tournament host Hawai’i (Big West) at 8 p.m.
